Updating or Remodeling your Swimming Pool

So, your swimming pool is looking a little worse for wear these days. Maybe your once bright tiles are not as lustrous as they used to be, or your plaster is cracked and chipped, or maybe you are just tired of the design. You may be thinking that your only choices are to either live with it or shell out a ton of money for a full rebuild, but there are ways to update your pool without breaking the bank.

When fixing up your pool there are two main routes you can go:

Pool Remodeling

This is when you want to change the look of your pool in any way. This can include aspects as small as adding or changing tiles, water features, lighting, etc. to things as big as the shape or size of the pool. This can often be very costly but give you a completely new look.

Pool Resurfacing

This is a type of maintenance that all pools should undergo about every 20 years. It will also change the appearance of your pool but not its size or function. Resurfacing is when a new coating is added to the surface of the pool to alleviate any cracks or chips or stains in the old one caused by chemicals. This will give the pool a fresh, healthy look and add great value.

Not sure where to begin?

Here are some popular pool updates to breathe some new life into your pool:

  1. Resurfacing
  2. Changing or adding tiles
  3. Spas
  4. Waterfalls
  5. Benches
  6. Updated lighting
